Since 1871, the Leonardi Farm has been dedicated to the artisanal production of excellent Balsamic Vinegar of Modena, following the ancient knowledge passed down for five generations.From growing their own Trebbiano and Lambrusco grapes, to the manual harvest, through the pressing, slow cooking of the grape must over direct heat, and aging in antique barrels made of various fine woods (oak, chestnut, cherry, juniper, ash, acacia, and mulberry), to the artisanal packaging of each bottle, the Leonardi family continues to oversee every stage of the production process on site, thus certifying itself as a short supply chain company.The wide range of products includes Traditional Balsamic Vinegar of Modena DOP, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena IGP, Balsamic Condiments, Sweet and Sour White Condiments, Saba and other gastronomic specialties, as well as the prized Extra Virgin Olive Oil, produced on the Leonardi Baglio Vento estate in Sciacca, Sicily. The condiments are also available in organic versions.The company is always open to visitors to view the production process and sample the wide range of products, with tastings available paired with local food specialties.
