The Fois olive farm was founded in 1890 in the countryside surrounding Alghero, in the north-west of Sardinia, an ideal environment for olive growing thanks to its temperate climate mitigated by the proximity of the sea. The olive farm currently spans an area of approximately 300 hectares of olive groves, housing around more than 30,000 olive trees, primarily of the Bosana cultivar. These have been complemented by other native and national cultivars to enhance and enrich the organoleptic and qualitative attributes of the oil range.
